Thanks for reading The Habit of Art by Kelcey Ervick, a 2024 Substack Featured Publication. Some of you are new here, so welcome! I love writing and drawing these posts and am grateful to everyone who follows along. I am author of four award-winning books, including the graphic memoir, The Keeper, which was featured in the New York Times Holiday Gift Guide, and where you can find 300 more illustrated pages of my thoughts about sports and writing (and girlhood and motherhood and sisterhood)! Inspired by my own shift toward visual storytelling, I co-edited The Field Guide to Graphic Literature, for people interested in making comics and illustrated stories.
